While relaxing in Central Park today, sipping my Sant Ambroeus latte and admiring my fellow New Yorkers, I can’t help but think “It’s a Wonderful World” is the soundtrack of the idyllic early autumn afternoon. New York City could not be any more perfect for me in this moment.
I spent the afternoon roaming the Met, concentrating on the fabulous pop artists and ancient Egypt. After, I grabbed a hot dog from a street vendor and spent some time people watching on the Met stairs. I spotted a dapper gentleman sporting round tortoiseshell glasses, a meticulously tailored navy blazer, a perfectly battered leather briefcase and black sneakers; the epitome of the chic New York man, in my opinion.
A trip to the Upper East Side isn’t complete without stopping at the legendary Sant Ambroeus. I get their coffees to go mainly because I’m so in love with the salmon and white graphics decorating the cups. I have yet to eat a meal there, and hopefully I can cross that off my bucket list soon.
Once I had my latte in hand I headed over to Central Park to continue my quintessential NYC afternoon and found a bench overlooking the boat pond. Here I sit, watching the toy boats glide over the serene water, and I think about how blessed I am to live here.

Looking forward to visiting you soon Honey!
